RESEARCH AND PUBLICATION

We participate in research programs and provide opportunities for young scholars, participants of our educational programs, to publish articles on Rule of Law, Transitional Justice and Human Rights.

The International Journal on Rule of Law, Transitional Justice and Human Rights is a peer-reviewed International Journal published by “Pravnik” and Rule of Law Program South East Europe of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. During and after the ISSS all participants are invited to contribute to the Journal with their papers. They are current and future academics, policy makers, lawyers and teachers. The goal is to promote an interdisciplinary approach and build bridges between academia and practitioners. The Volume 1 of the International Journal on Rule of Law, Transitional Justice and Human Rights published in 2010 has been well received by academia and practitioners with 10 more published as of 2020.

Together with the Humanitarian Law Center (Serbia) and Humanitarian Law Center Kosovo, three editions of the Regional School for Transitional Justice: Journal were published in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, Albanian and English. The journal include papers from the students of the Regional School for Transitional Justice, where they analysed a range of themes pertaining to the process of dealing with the past and transitional justice, such as the memorialisation processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, war crimes trials before the ICTY and Kosovo courts and the contents of history textbooks in BiH and Serbia.
